Flamingo and Potrero sit side by side on the central stretch of the Guanacaste coast, about an hour from Liberia’s airport, with the marina right between them. We pick you up at the door and bring you back to the door.
There’s a local trick most visitors never learn about reaching Flamingo: in the dry season we take a short back route that fords a bridgeless river, shaving 20 to 30 minutes off the run to places like Playas del Coco and the Buena Vista side. Once the rains raise that river the crossing closes and we’re back on the main road — either way we plan the timing so you’re never left waiting. Beyond the marina, Flamingo and Potrero are the calm, unhurried end of the coast. On land, the tours that fit best here are the ATV and buggy trails, the mangrove canoe, Palo Verde, the Sloth day and the Rainforest combo.

Flamingo is the sailing capital of this coast, and if the ocean is what you came for, you’re already in the right place — our boats leave from the marina, minutes from your door. But there’s a whole other country behind those hills, and most visitors never turn inland to see it.
An hour and fifteen minutes east, the Tempisque River carries one of Central America’s great concentrations of waterbirds. Two and a half hours north, the rainforest of Tenorio runs turquoise. That’s the trip people remember — and from Flamingo it’s an easy day, not an expedition.

Flamingo and Potrero sit in the middle of our northern Pacific pickup corridor, which runs from the Papagayo Peninsula down to Hacienda Pinilla. Wherever you’d like to go, we start at your door.
Book three tours and your arrival transfer is on us
If you book three tours with us, we collect you at the airport when you land — that transfer is included, not discounted. Book four and we take you back for your departure flight as well.
Two conditions, and we would rather say them plainly than have you discover them later. The group has to be four people or more. And the group that rides in from the airport is the group that does the tours: if eight of you arrive in the van, the tours are for eight, not for four of the eight.
