ATV & Buggy Adventure
We take you off the paved roads and into Guanacaste's back-country, with one shallow river crossing midway where the water sprays up and just about everyone ends up laughing and soaked — it's the part people film most. We head out early morning or late afternoon, when the trail dust settles and the light is best for photos; by midday the Guanacaste sun hits hard. Each ATV carries one rider, so you drive your own machine — if you're traveling with small kids or someone who'd rather not drive, the buggy (minimum four people) is the better call. Either way it's fully private and guided, paced around your group and never shared with strangers.

Yes, every Guanadreams CR ride is fully private: just your group and your guide on the trails (minimum 2 people).
For buggies, drivers must be 18 or older (no license needed), and kids are welcome as passengers — each buggy seats up to 4. For ATVs, riders 13 and up can drive after a quick driving-skills check with your guide; anyone not quite ready simply rides along with a confident driver.
Your private guide, water, and pickup from anywhere in the area (we collect you wherever you’re staying). Lunch isn’t included, but you can stop at a local restaurant during or after the ride if you’d like to eat.
Yes — make it a full adventure combo by adding a zipline canopy run, a jet ski session, or a visit to Guanacaste’s largest animal sanctuary.
Choose between a 2.5-hour or 4-hour ride, depending on how much trail you want. Bring closed-toe shoes, clothes you don’t mind getting dusty or wet, sunscreen, and sunglasses with a strap.
Our private ATV & buggy experience is priced per machine, taxes included. An ATV is $250 for 2.5 hours or $400 for 4 hours; the price includes one rider, and a second rider on the same ATV adds $100 (maximum 2 people per ATV). A buggy is $700 for 2.5 hours or $1,000 for 4 hours, for up to 4 people — the price is the same whether you ride with 2 or 4. Every option includes your own private certified guide, all safety gear and bottled water, and the machines, guide and route are exclusively yours. We’ll confirm your exact quote on WhatsApp based on your group size and the machines you choose.
